No doubt, as revelers begin their celebration of one-time goat herder and infamous snake charmer, Saint Patrick, folks out there will want to demonstrate their questionable Irish ancestry with a suitably themed shot. So, as the folk from the emerald isle sit sipping whisky while idly recounting tales of yesteryear, people elsewhere, with tall hats and strangely coloured beer can enhance their inebriation with a round or two of Boozy Irish Flag Shots.

Layering your Irish Flag Shots
For those unversed in the gentile pursuit of bartending, there are several methods people use to layer their shots. Many will use the back of a bar spoon to gently add the next level of booze, while those catering for large orders will tilt the glass and pour expertly from a bottle nozzle. For me, pouring glass to glass is by far the easiest, tilting both at 45 degrees and slowly pouring the liquid on top.
A Questionable Combination of Flavours
I have to admit, this isn’t the tastiest drink in the world, especially when you consider that it essentially represents the orange juice and toothpaste combination of disgusting flavours. But hey, at least you’ll get to use that creme de menthe that’s been sitting in the drinks cupboard since forever.

What Else Should You Drink on St Patrick’s Day I hear You Ask
For any self-respecting Irishman, the answer is pretty easy, grab yourself a good bottle of Irish Whiskey, and chase it down with a pint of Guinness. Other than that, just grab whatever you want, as long as it’s wet and boozy. For the more refined palate, however, classy types can try whipping themselves up a good old mug of Irish Coffee!
Whatever you do, before hitting the town, don’t forget to fill up the fuel tanks with a big old bowl of Irish Beef Stew.
