Take 8 Chicken Drumsticks, make 3 slits in the top of each one with a sharp knife, and place them in a large mixing bowl
Next, put 30g of Light Soy Sauce, 30g of Fresh Lemon Juice, and 30g of Honey in a small jar and give it a good shake. Then pour it over the Chicken Drumsticks, and massage it into each one so that they are evenly coated
Now, place a small saucepan with 30g of Butter on a medium heat, and when it starts bubbling, throw in 12g of finely chopped Garlic, and fry until lightly browned
Pour the resulting Garlic Butter over the Chicken and toss until completely coated
Put 6g of Salt, 1g of Black Pepper, 6g of Paprika, 4g of Chili Powder, 6g of Onion Powder, and 3g of Ground Ginger in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Then throw it in with the Chicken, and rub it into the drumsticks until evenly coated
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and leave to rest int he fridge for a minimum of 1 hour, preferably overnight
When ready to cook, heat the oven to 220℃ (430°F, Fan 200°C, Gas Mark 7)
Meanwhile, place the marinated Chicken Drumsticks in a snug-fitting Baking Tray
When the oven has fully heated, bake the Drumsticks for 40 minutes, until they have nicely browned and the juices run clear
If your are hosting a barbecue, you can finish the fully cooked drumsticks on the grill to crisp up the skin a little, and impart that delicious charcoal flavour. Just remember, this will only take a minute or 2
Grip the drumstick by the small end, and devour it like the barbarian you really are
